Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about dumpster rentals, demolition, and renovations in South Jersey.
What fits in a 15-yard dumpster?
A 15-yard dumpster holds about 4–5 pickup truck loads. It's ideal for small cleanouts, garage or attic junk, minor remodeling debris, and single-room tear-outs. Heavy materials like concrete, dirt, and brick are allowed but must stay within the included weight.
What dumpster sizes do you offer?
We stock 15, 20, and 30 yard roll-off dumpsters. 15-yard is our most popular for residential jobs and starts at $375. 20-yard works for kitchens, baths, and medium cleanouts. 30-yard is best for large renovations, estate cleanouts, and commercial debris.
How long is the rental period?
Standard rental is 7 days. Need it longer? Just let us know when you book and we can extend for a daily fee. If you finish early, call us and we'll schedule a pickup as soon as possible.
What items are not allowed in the dumpster?
Hazardous materials are prohibited: paint, oil, antifreeze, tires, batteries, propane tanks, asbestos, medical waste, and flammable liquids. If you're unsure about a specific item, text us a photo and we'll tell you how to handle it.
Do I need a permit for the dumpster?
If the dumpster sits on your private driveway or property, no permit is usually required. If it must go on the street or sidewalk, the town may require a street permit. We can guide you through the process for Merchantville, Cherry Hill, Pennsauken, and surrounding towns.
What are your overage fees?
Our 15-yard price includes 1 ton. Additional tonnage is billed at a prorated rate. We'll explain the exact rate when you book so there are no surprises. The best way to avoid overages is to tell us what materials you're tossing so we match the right size.
How quickly can you deliver?
We offer same-day or next-day delivery in Merchantville, Cherry Hill, Pennsauken, and Camden when booked before noon. Other South Jersey towns are usually next day or within 48 hours depending on route availability.
Do you do demolition and renovations too?
Yes. We are a full-service demolition and renovation contractor. We handle interior gut-outs, kitchen and bath remodels, basement finishing, drywall, tile, flooring, shed and deck tear-downs, and full property cleanouts.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Davilla's is licensed in New Jersey (NJ HIC 13VH13886000) and fully insured. We carry the coverage required for residential and commercial demolition work.
